We all want to leave a positive mark on our community. Now you can literally leave a positive mark on your Library’s front steps! By purchasing a custom-engraved brick, you can both support Johnson City Public Library and commemorate someone or something important in your own life. For $125, we will install a brick with an engraving of your choice on the steps of the Library’s main entrance on West Millard Street.
You can purchase a custom brick here. We also have order forms at the Library; call (423) 434-4463 to pick one up. This brick sale ends Wednesday, June 30, so make sure to purchase yours soon!
Library Director Julia Turpin says, “Each brick tells the story of a community of supporters who help ensure Johnson City has a world-class public library. Purchasing a brick is a wonderful way to demonstrate your support for our Library and honor someone or something you care about.”
Your custom-engraved brick can feature up to three lines of text and up to 20 characters per line (including spaces); it can be dedicated to a loved one, a friend, a graduating class, or anything else important to you. All funds from brick purchases go to the Library’s collections and programs. That means you’ll be helping us in our mission to provide entertainment and learning opportunities for the community.
