Kids Summer Reading Shows: Roger Day

Get ready to sing and laugh with Roger Day! Children’s singer and songwriter, Roger Day, is giving an action-packed, musical show with zany, infectious fun for all ages. Roger Day will have shows Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM in the Jones Meeting Room. This program is free and open to the public, and appropriate for all ages.

For the comfort and safety of all, space is limited to 150 for each show. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each show with first come, first seated.

Roger Day’s lively and interactive family performances have earned him a large following wherever he performs. Included among the many awards he has received are two time Parents’ Choice Gold Award Winner, National Association of Parenting Publications Gold Award, and NACA Harry Chapin Award for Contributions to Humanity. He will be performing songs from his eight CDs including his Greatest Hits Volume 1 & 2.

Roger Day’s performance is presented as part of the “Libraries Rock!” Summer Reading Program and is sponsored by the Johnson City Monday Club and the Friends of the Johnson City Public Library. Support materials are provided by the Tennessee State Library and Archives.
