Preschool Spring Celebration

Celebrate the season with us using our senses! We know exploring the world is the biggest task of any young child, so let’s explore together! Our Preschool spring celebration is from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM in the Jones Meeting Room on March 22, the first day of spring. Drop in with your kids aged 18 months to 5 years old, no registration is required. Betty Cobb, Youth Services manager says, “we are so ready to greet the warm days with a Spring Celebration for our preschoolers. Lots of activities will be offered for children to use their sense of touch, smell, and feel.”

Betty continues, “it’s a great time for children to cooperate and share with each other as they move from center to center.”  Make paper-flower crowns and egg carton butterflies to celebrate the new life growing all around us. Check out the rainbow corner with colored sensory bottles and squish bags to practice drawing shapes and letters! Play in our spring-themed sensory bins and feel the joy of spring. Dig your hands in some dirt and plant seeds to take home!
