Teen Volunteers

Teen Volunteers

Johnson City Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for teens ages 12-18. Volunteering can fulfill service requirements and boost your resumé. You’ll also learn new skills, make your Library and community better, and meet other Johnson City teens.

Volunteer opportunities include working in departments like Youth Services, Adult Services, and Technical Services.

If you’re interested specifically in Teen Services, join our Teen Advisory Board, participate in Stories to Service, or help in the Library’s pollinator garden. For more information, check out the teen volunteer brochure or call (423) 434-4349.

To apply to be a teen volunteer, pick up a teen volunteer application at the Information Desk on the second floor or download a copy. Return the completed application to the Information Desk or email it to Amy Taylor. A teen librarian will contact you to set up a meeting to help determine your volunteer interests and schedule.
