Library patrons ages 12-18 are also invited to join our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Help make decisions about your Library’s teen programs, services, and collections in an open forum that meets once a month. Each meeting will earn you one volunteer hour.

Adult Volunteers

Johnson City Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for adults ages 18 and older. Adult volunteers may assist with shelving, putting on special events, book repair and preservation, or reading to children at local child care centers. They may also volunteer to complete community service hour requirements for colleges (such as needed for TN Promise or service learning requirements).
